Kitchen
As you can see from the picture, our kitchen has many luxury extras; such as, the beautiful entry door from the garage, the recessed lighting, and stainless steel appliances. This is truly a kitchen in which any cook can enjoy preparing a meal. From the well-supplied pantry to the cabinets full of dishes, you will appreciate the chef that thought of almost everything when stocking this kitchen. This room also encompasses a dining area that will seat eight or more. The black and brown table and chairs stand invitingly on a gorgeous Persian rug that sets the dining area apart from the wood floors throughout the kitchen. Don't forget about the huge Grill out on the deck when planning your menus. It is accessable all year.
Formal Dining Room
Our Formal Dining Room is a few steps from the kitchen and is a bright spot for gathering. The tall bay window is reflected in the huge mirror on the opposite wall and invites the sunshine in. The Ratan and glass tables and chairs, greenery, and other decore give a casual and fun feeling to the place. In cooler months, the corner fireplace adds a cheery glow, as well as added warmth. A great place to gather to play games, put together puzzles, or just visit while sipping a cup of cocoa or coffee.
The Spa Room
Our Spa Room is the size of a garage and decorated with greenery and ratan furniture and has a huge Hot Tub in the middle. It seats seven to eight adults easily and is lots of fun with jets and spouts, changing lights, and even music if you want. However, we have discovered most of our guests just enjoy relaxing in the warm water while watching a favorite movie on the flat screen TV mounted on the wall. We provide a large basket full of fun towels and a warm, fluffy robe to wrap up in when you get out. A great way to end a day of snowmobiling or skiing! Or, on warm summer days, the eight-foot double doors can be opened wide to bring in the fresh air of the high-country.
The Theater/Game Room
The Theater/Game Room has a large, wall-mounted TV with a built-in DVD player for watching your favorite movies; or, if you prefer, we provide an X-box game system and library of games to play on it. There are three couches and a gigantic "bean bag" for sitting. The couches can all be made into beds for additional sleeping spots. All bedding is supplied, of course. In addition, there is a play area for small children with toys, etc. There is a small collection of books for all ages in our library, as well as CDs (with player provided) and movies from many genres. This is a fun room that many of our guests tend to spend a lot of time in.
Laundry Facilities
We have a washer and dryer available with detergent and fabric softner provided. The iron and ironing board can be found in the kitchen pantry.
