The Deck
The wrap-around Deck extends from the Spa Room to the Kitchen and down to The Patio. Just outside the eight-foot double doors that lead into the Spa Room with its huge Hot Tub, is the Gas Grill. This grill, with its tile counter and cabinets, can accommodate the cooking of steak for almost any size group. Of course, all your BBQ tools are provided for you. Both parts of the deck are positioned well to allow guests sitting there a good view of any activity on the lower patio by the firepit. On the decks are two tables; one with benches and one with six chairs. The deck is easily accessible from the kitchen, so serving your group will be a breeze.
The Firepit
The Firepit is built into a lower lever patio that is several steps lower than the upper patio. The steps and lower patio have a short wall on two sides that is ideal for sitting on when roasting hotdogs or marshmellows around the fire. This grouping also makes a great place to gather for a program. The steps and wall give additional seating below the upper patio as does the grass on either side.
The Patio
In the backyard and just a few steps down from the deck is the Paver Patio. We provide a matching group of patio furniture that includes: Two large tables with chairs and two lounge chairs with a small side table. The taller, bar height table has six elevated chairs and the shorter, rectangular table has six very comfortable chairs as well. Additional chairs may be moved from the decks and Spa Room.
Backyard
The Chalet has a large backyard with lots of lawn for playing games or putting up tents. Just ask and we will get out the games for you. Don't get so involved in games that you forget to enjoy the peace and serenity or the beautiful scenery.
Parking
The Chalet can accommodeate four vehicles easily and up to eight if necessary. The Chalet has a very large, heated garage. It can easily hold three vehicles but can manage five, if four are small and parked end to end. There is parking for a small camper, boat, traler etc. on the West side of the house. If this is not enough room, vehicles can be parked in the "driveway".
Like most Bear Lake Lodgings, the Chalet @ Snow Meadows is subject to parking regulations; so we ask that you park only on The Chalet's property
